Directions: Pick up a map at the Front Gate, Nature Center, or Park Office. Visit all nine stations within the maze telling the story of Smokey Bear.
Location: Park at the West Parking Lot to begin to begin your 1-mile adventure.
Caution: The ground is rough and uneven in the maze.
NEW THIS YEAR: You can earn a completion prize provided by our Friends of Potato Creek State Park. For this prize maze walkers must stop at all the stations and follow the directions to take selfie, learn something new about Smokey, and present a phrase to our Interpretive Naturalists at the Nature Center which is currently open from 10-4 ET daily.

Our interpretive programs are designed to entertain and enrich folks of all ages. Children under 12 must have an adult with them at programs.
Registration is not required for this program.
All our programs are free (unless otherwise noted). They are open to the public after paying the park entrance fee. ($7 in-state & $9 out-of-state)
All our Interpretive programs are listed in Eastern Time.
The Nature Center's Current Hours through November 3rd: Open Daily 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. ET
*Note that during peak visitation times, entry into our park might be delayed. Parking lots around the Nature Center can fill quickly. The Nature Center is located approximately 10 minutes from our park’s main entrance gate. Please plan accordingly.*
