Ripley County Plein Air Paint Out – June 11-13 

One of Ripley County’s most beloved art traditions is returning, and Versailles State Park is once again the perfect backdrop! The Plein Air Paint Out invites artists to step outside, set up their easels, and capture the stunning scenery of the park!

What You’ll See

• Artists painting landscapes, architecture, and natural scenes throughout the park

• A chance to watch painters work en plein air

• An art show will be held on June 13th showcasing the incredible pieces created at the event. 

Location: Versailles State Park (artists will be painting throughout the park) When: June 11-13 Registration: Thursday, Friday, 7-10 am and Saturday 7-9 am at the VSP Nature Center

Who Can Participate? Artists of all experience levels — oils, watercolors, pastels, and more — are welcome to join the competition.
