Invest In Your Health Indiana, your employee wellness program, along with our partners at Anthem and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources are excited to host the 2026 Run The State 5K and Hike series for employees and family members!

You are invited to attend the Run the State 5K at Indiana Dunes State Park on Saturday, April 18!

You can sign up by clicking the "register" link above. Everyone is encouraged to participate at their own pace, so run or walk your way to the finish line. Join fellow state employees who are making the commitment to get out and get moving.

Due to the projected forecast for thunderstorms early Saturday morning, we have adjusted the check-in and start times to be half an hour later than originally scheduled.

• Check-in Location: City West Shelter
• UPDATED Check-in: 7:55-8:20 a.m. (Central Time)
• UPDATED Start time: 8:30 a.m. (Central Time)
• Route: Start & finish line is located at the City West Shelter. The course is paved, includes several turns and small hills, and is stroller friendly. Leashed dogs are welcome.
