On April 8th, 2024, Ouabache State Park will be in the path of totality for a solar eclipse! Come learn what you need to know to enjoy this once in a life time event! What is an eclipse, and why does it happen? What is totality anyway? What do you need to know to enjoy the eclipse safely? What will be happening at Ouabache State Park on the day of the eclipse? Join a park staff to get answers to these questions, and more!
You can also get yourself a pair of eclipse glasses. Decorate them as you see fit!
(Glasses are limited to program attendees, extras will not be distributed. A suggested donation of $1 can be made for the glasses. Glasses distributed as supplies last. In the event of running out, glasses can be purchased at the Park Office).
