Teachers are invited to join a free workshop that provides training in Project WET and Project WILD from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. ET July 15 at Falls of the Ohio State Park (201 Riverside Drive, Clarksville, IN  47129).

Project WET and Project WILD have developed a rich curriculum of interactive, science-based activities to encourage preschool through high school learners in both formal and non-formal settings to think critically about water in all its forms and act responsibly towards wildlife and natural resources. The workshop provides Next Generation Science Standards aligned, innovative K-12 curriculum on environmental science and sustainability.

Register to attend this free workshop by emailing Brian and Tamela Brewer at [email protected] by July 8. All materials will be provided, but lunch from 12-1 p.m. will be on your own.

Teachers can earn six Professional Growth Points for attendance, but should check with their administrator to be sure the workshop qualifies.

Project WET and Project WILD are programs of the DNR Division of Fish & Wildlife and Division of Nature Preserves. This workshop is sponsored by the Falls of the Ohio Foundation.
