Celebrate the spring equinox with a waterfowl birding hike at LaSalle Fish & Wildlife Area (FWA) in partnership with Friends of the Sands. We hope to see many species of migrating ducks, geese, and possibly pelicans as we walk the trail, but one never can tell what we will experience out in nature. There will be spotting scopes to share, but please bring binoculars or a spotting scope if you have one.

To join the hike, meet at 4:45 PM CT at the headquarters for LaSalle FWA. The group will then carpool to the area 3 parking lot (3B). The hike is entirely on a gravel access road, so please bring appropriate clothing and shoes.
