Officers within the rank of 2LT thru CPT (4yrs Time in Grade, O3 only) or less can now apply for the AGR New Hire OML hiring process. Enlisted Soldiers who hold a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) are eligible to apply.

Applicants may go to FTSMCS (FTSMCS - Jobs - Search Open Job Announcements (army.mil)) to submit their applications. Applications will be reviewed daily, and packet deficiencies will be identified to the applicant to correct any missing documentation by the closing date of the announcement 26AUG24.

OML boards will be tentatively conducted mid-September, in person, at Stout Field. If you are outside the State of Indiana when you are scheduled to board, the Selecting and President of the Board will make the determination for an over the phone board. Requests are not automatically approved for this course of action.

Ther Order of Merit will be active throughout the Fiscal Year or expired at the discretion of the Selecting Official. Notifications will be sent out to all applicants who scored high enough (70% or higher) to be placed on the OML.

It is at the discretion of the Selecting Official to publicize the Order of Merit. Any requests for applicant placement will be routed to the AGR Manager, thru the HRO, and to the Selecting Official.
