Bells Across America is an annual celebration of the signing of the U.S. Constitution. Participants gather to ring bells, much as the church bells of Philadelphia rang out when the U.S. Constitution was first signed at 4 pm on September 17, 1787.

Constitution Week is September 17th through the 23rd. We will ring bells citywide and have a program on September 17 at 4:00 p.m. in the Allen County Public Library Theater, 900 Library Plaza, Fort Wayne, IN 46802. The Bells Across America program at the library will include a Bell Choir and be recorded.

All churches, public sites, and schools are encouraged to ring their bells on Wednesday, September 17 at 4:00 p.m. EST in honor of the signing of the United States Constitution.
