The Armed Forces Open is our Inaugural (4-wall) Handball Tournament at Purdue University, that will draw players from all over the country to contribute to a shared Military cause. Started by an Active-Duty Navy Officer, the tournament was created with the concept of hosting on a rotating basis. The intent is to promote the sport of Handball, as well as strengthen the relationships among the military, Handball and local communities. The Armed Forces Banquet will be held at the VFW as a fundraiser, open to the public, that will help to support the Dorothy Stratton Veteran & Military Success Center. A catered dinner will be provided, with live entertainment from Michael Carluccio, along with guest speakers and raffles. ALL PROCEEDS will help provide a comprehensive suite of wrap-around support services for students who are veterans, members of the military, or benefit-using family members.
