Art in Nature 

Provides Free Art Classes. 

Are you a budding artist but never got to try your hand at photography, acrylic painting, wood turning, or recycled art? Art in Nature is the perfect opportunity for you to feel free to attempt your artistic aspirations guided by talented local artists ready with the tools you need. Scheduled for April 27th-30th at the Recreation Hall in Versailles State Park, classes will be held nightly from 6-8pm. An art show of all the created art will be Saturday, May 2nd from 11am-3pm. There will also be live artisan demonstrations throughout the day. Watch master glassblowers from Neusole Glassworks, basketmaking with The Basketman, hand-made moccasin crafting, blacksmithing, stained glass artistry, and more.

Enjoy hands-on demonstrations with the Southeastern Indiana Wood Turners, pottery demonstrations, and additional artisan showcases that bring heritage skills to life. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet the makers, learn about their craft, and experience art in action.
