Friday, October 24th

5:30 pm – 7:00 pm Kid’s Showing preview of Haunted Trail before darkness falls, bring your wee little ones out to see the maze of spooky haunts through the woods and back to the campsite you go before we prowl for owls on our night hike as the moon starts to glow, bears start to growl, and coyotes start to howl.

8:00 pm Night Hike: Owl Prowl Experience the spooky sounds of night on a guided night hike through the eerie woods of the park.

8:45 pm SCARY STORIES Immediately following the hike, gather around the campfire for some spooky stories.  Ends at 9:30pm.

Saturday, October 25

10:00am- 4:00pm  Hay Rides! View the campsites as they get decorated, get your park questions answered and enjoy an old-fashioned hayride through the campground. 

10:00am- 1:00pm Silent Auction  Come bid on a variety of hand-crafted and donated items. All proceeds go back to the park.  Items must be paid/picked up by 4:00!  *Raffle – Enter for your chance to win site of your choice for Autumn Weekend 2026. See cashier for more details.

10:00am- until gone  Apple & Pumpkin Carving   $2.00 per pumpkin.  Carve your very own apple or pumpkin to take home for Halloween! 

10:00am- 9:00pm THE GREAT PUMPKIN HUNT Join in for some great family fun as this scavenger hunt takes you to a unique spot in the park. Leave the clues in the pumpkin for the next person.  Receive a special prize when you complete this adventure from the DNR Clown! 

A Wee Little One Pun’kin Hunt This new special scavenger hunt is designed just for those little people and their parents to experience a small taste of the larger Great Pumpkin Hunt without traveling around the park. Within easy walking distance of the tents, you can hold their hand as you travel to the cemetery located just before the campground gatehouse.  There are four pumpkins located outside/around the cemetery.  Read the Riddle by the pumpkin and have them stick their hand in the pumpkin to find a prize.  Each pumpkin will have a sticker or treat for your child to take from within the pumpkin. 

1:00pm – 2:00pm  Fear Factor Test your senses as you try to conquer your fears from snakes, spiders, edible insects and more! $2.00 per person (separated into three different age groups)

5:30pm-7:00pm  TRICK-OR-TREAT  in the campgrounds.  ALL vehicle traffic through the campground will be stopped at 5:00pm prior to and during this time for the safety of all the children!

7:30pm-9:00pm  Spooky Haunted Trail Located on first campsites on the left side of road, just after entering the campground.  (Sponsored by the Lawson Family and Friends)
