  Road & Friendship Lane\n\nJoin experienced birders Nancy Lightfoot and Ka
 thy Ruesink\, long-time members of the Eagle Nest Watch program at Monroe 
 Lake\, for a birding hike in the bottomlands of Salt Creek! This is a spec
 ial opportunity to bird in the Northfork Waterfowl Resting Area during the
  winter\, when it is normally off-limits to the public. Habitat includes f
 ield\, forest edge\, creek\, and wetland\, so a wide range of species can 
 potentially be spotted. Eagles are a definite possibility\, and the hike w
 ill include a look at a Bald Eagle nest. Bring binoculars\, if you have th
 em – loaner pairs will also be available.\n\nRegistrants will be sent an
  info email (via Eventbrite) after registration closes on Feb. 12 at 4 p.m
