Want to learn new tools of teaching middle school and high school students about these patterns? Join us for Climate Conversations 2.0, a workshop designed to learn about climate, what farmers are doing to protect their soil resources, and adaptations being made in an changing world.
During this workshop participants will experience activities from Project WET (Climate, Water & Resilience), hear from climate experts about soil, weather and climate including a Q&A, and visit the Land Stewardship Initiative farm that has installed practices to prevent soil erosion and improve water quality.
The workshop is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 2 in the CTM (Center for Technology, Innovation & Manufacturing) building located at 961 College Avenue in Jasper, Indiana. Lunch will not be provided but participants are encouraged to eat lunch together afterwards at the famous Schnitzlebank (German) restaurant a few blocks away. Please wear closed-toed shoes for hiking in the farm fields.
