Description: Join Indiana Project WET, WILD, and Learning Tree and Purdue Department of Forestry and Natural Resources as we discover the amazing amphibians that call Indiana their home! Learn about research and conservation efforts to protect these vulnerable species, participate in activities that can be used in K-12 classes/educational programs, and explore the wetlands of Purdue Wildlife Area. All are welcome to register for this workshop; any attending educators will receive 4 PGP / CE points and activity resources for responsibly engaging their students with the wonders of Indiana’s amphibians. We will begin the workshop at the Wright Center at Martell Forest and then caravan to the Purdue Wildlife Area for the field expedition as frogs begin to call in the evening. Please dress for the weather, rain or shine, and bring rubber boots/waders and a headlamp/flashlight if possible. Register here, or reach out to Lexi Eiler, Indiana Project Learning Tree Coordinator at [email protected] or 463-253-8835 for more information.
