SOLDIER MUST MEET THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW TO APPLY:

a. Soldier must be in the grade of E6 or E5 on current FY EPS list.
b. Soldier must be MOSQ or become MOSQ within 12 months.
c. Must meet all requirements for SFAB per MILPER Message 24-085 to include attending SFAB Assessment and Selection.
(1) Applicants must have a current passing six event ACFT, alternate events are not authorized.
(2) Complete chapter 5 physical to confirm medical fitness standards of 111221 PULHES or better. Vision and hearing limitations must be correctable.
(3) Possess and maintain a Security Clearance.
(4) Have no derogatory (DEROG) information within the past five years. DEROG is defined as any credible derogatory information that may reflect on a Soldier’s character, integrity, trustworthiness, or reliability and includes letters of reprimand and UCMJ, Article 15
(5) Be deployable upon volunteering and maintain a deployable status throughout the assignment.
(6) Attend Assessment and Selection (A&S) course within 12 months of assignment to the unit and prior to Combat Advisors Training Course (CATC).
 

Apply for the position utilizing the DA Form 4187. In the Remarks block, list the proper job announcement, two (2) contact telephone numbers, and applicant’s current mailing address. Attach a copy of the Soldier’s most recent SRB, last 3 NCOERs, DA form 705, a current DA Form 5500 or 5501, or a memorandum of compliance that the Soldier is within height and weight standards of AR 600-9. Please include the current height and weight in the memorandum. Must complete a Security Force Assistance Brigade Volunteer Questionnaire.
