That's right, you read the title of this hike correctly, The Boulder in the Tree Hike. This hike is 2 miles round trip, is quite rugged and will take us about 1.5 hours to complete! The Boulder in the Tree phenomenon is something we've seen in several places around Brown County including here at the park and in Yellowwood State Forest. This is your chance to get out and see one of these boulders stuck in in a tree. The question is, how did it get there? Come see it for yourself and make your most educated guess! This hike will be mostly off trail so please dress for the weather and know there may be a couple creek crossings depending on how high the water is. Boots are essential. Be prepared!
