Come to our annual eagle watch at the George Rogers Clark home site (1102 W Harrison Ave in Clarksville). Observe bald eagles around their nest on Shippingport Island and learn about their comeback as an endangered species. We’ll also look for the returning osprey on their nest. The Dwight Chamberlain Raptor Rehab Center at Hardy Lake will bring a variety of raptors from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. A number of birders will bring spotting scopes to public use until 4:00 PM. Guests are welcome to bring a spotting scope or binoculars. Led by Naturalist at Heart volunteer and experienced birders Del Striegel and Tom & Colleen Becker.
