  • Celebrate Earth Day by giving back to one of our local natural treasures- Versailles State Park! Join us for a hands-on volunteer event partnered with the Friends of Versailles State Park that is focused on removing invasive garlic mustard and cleaning up litter throughout the park.

Garlic Mustard is an invasive plant that crowds out native wildflowers and disrupts wildlife habitats. By helping pull this aggressive weed, you will play a direct role in restoring the park’s natural beauty and help protect its ecosystems. We’ll also be picking up trash along trails and common areas to ensure the park stays clean and welcoming for everyone.

This is an opportunity for families, scout groups, students, and community members of all ages to make a meaningful environmental impact. No experience is necessary-just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to volunteer!
