By law, the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission is required to revoke the employee permit of an individual that is convicted of operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) after the initial issuance of their employee permit. Prior to the Commission seeking revocation of an employee permit due to an OWI conviction, employee permit holders must appear before the Commission for a hearing. Employee permit hearings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. eastern time.
