Assist with native plant propagation at Prophetstown State Park! Plants grown at Prophetstown SP are used in restoration efforts at the park, supplied to Indiana State Parks across the state, and used in our Native Plant Sale with proceeds supporting future greenhouse operations at Prophetstown SP. 
 
In 2025, Greenhouse Planting Days take place February 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th. You can sign up for a 2 hour shift (10am-Noon/1pm-3pm) or sign up for both shifts and take a 1hr lunch break in-between. This activity is for ages 13 and up. Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult. This activity takes place indoors, but please dress for the weather as the room can be drafty. Volunteers should have a steady hand and be able to lift up to 10 pounds. Questions- contact Jenna at [email protected] .
