About this Event
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development and WorkOne Central are hosting a virtual job fair featuring four employers with dozens of openings available in Hendricks County.
The virtual job fair is scheduled to run from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. EDT on Thursday, Sept. 24.
Becton Dickinson and Co. and GEODIS in Plainfield, in addition to Harlan Bakeries/Weston Foods in Avon and Maplehurst Bakeries in Brownsburg, are the four companies that will be participating in the job fair.
"Employers are continually challenged to find skilled workers. The virtual job fair uses technology to implement a proven hiring technique, personally presenting an employer's opportunities to a large audience of interested applicants,” said Lance Ratliff, Executive Director of the Region 5 Workforce Board. “Region 5 is excited to partner with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development to offer this event to our job seekers and employers.”
Presenters from each will discuss job opportunities in detail, along with benefits and how to apply.
Those interested in the job fair but unable to attend are encouraged to still register, as a recording will be sent via email the following day.
