Join us for a moonlight paddle tour on Hovey Lake at 8 p.m. CT. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the local nighttime nature and night sky. Hovey Lake FWA staff will serve as tours guides while participants canoe/kayak around the lake at night. This paddle will take place during a full moon, giving a unique paddling experience. Participants will get to take in the beauty of Hovey Lake after dark, as well as learn about the interesting things happening at Hovey Lake FWA.

Hovey Lake offers an easy paddling experience, but participants must be 10 years and older to attend. Participants for this event should plan on bringing their own paddlecraft, life vest, a flashlight, and adequate clothing for the cool evening tour. Participants should plan to arrive with enough time to get their paddlecraft ready for the start of the event. Folks who are interested in attending but do not have a vessel are encouraged to contact Zach Schoenherr prior to the event.
