Join us for a moonlight paddle tour on Hovey Lake on Monday, June 29 at 8 p.m. CT. This is a great opportunity to learn more about local nighttime nature and night sky. This unique experience will take place during a full moon. Indiana DNR staff will lead participants as they canoe/kayak around and take in the beauty of Hovey Lake at night. 

Hovey Lake offers an easy paddling experience, but participants must be 5 years and older to attend. Participants for this event should plan on bringing their own paddlecraft, life vest, a flashlight, and adequate clothing for the cool evening tour. Participants should plan to arrive with enough time to get their paddlecraft ready for the start of the event. Folks who are interested in attending but do not have a vessel are encouraged to contact Zach Schoenherr prior to the event.
