Join a park naturalist for a guided night hike around Lake Strahl! The Full Moon is the brightest night of the month, leading to excellent views of the lake. Learn about December's full moon, the Cold Moon.  Trail 6 around the lake is rated easy, but should be considered moderate in the dark. The trail has some staircases, uneven surfaces, and muddy spots. It is .5 miles and will take about an hour to complete. Please do not bring pets on night hikes. Red flashlights are preferred for night vision and can be loaned to hikers on request.
