Non-native invasive species pose a threat to Indiana's native plants & animals. Invasive plants like Garlic Mustard can shade out native flowers which leaves less food for our pollinators. Garlic Mustard is one of the easiest to removal because all it takes is elbow grease. We will start off with an overview of invasive species in Indiana, followed by instructions for pulling garlic mustard within the park.
Meet at the Fireplace Shelter (located between Suspension Bridge and Nature Center). Bring work/garden gloves if you have any. Pants and closed toed footwear are recommended. Everyone who participates will receive a free poster.
