Staff from the Indiana Geographic Information Office will be holding a webinar at 11 A.M. EST on July 10th, 2025 to review recent improvements to the State’s geocoder tools, as well as a comprehensive analysis of geocoding quality conducted through the first half of 2025. The IGIO geocoded approximately 2.7 million addresses provided by Indiana’s Department of Revenue from 2024 tax returns through the State’s geocoder, and Esri’s World Geocoder. Attendees will learn about how statewide GIS data collected through the Data Harvest is augmented for geocoding purposes, the methodology and results of the analysis project, and next steps for improving data and geocoding quality in Indiana.
