Get ready for Goblins Weekend at Lieber State Recreation Area on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. 

Join the Friends of Lieber and park staff at the Lieber SRA Campground Gate for crafts, games, photo ops, food, and pumpkin carving

Embark on a Fairy Tale Forest hike at the campground entrance and learn about the park's enchanted creatures. Enjoy hayrides through the park ($1 per person) and see the fall colors. Check in at the Campground Gate and Nature Center for other Goblins Weekend activities and programming.

The campground will be limited to foot-traffic only during Trick or Treat. This will be strictly enforced. Gate entrance fee applies. 

Go on a Goblin Quest the entire month of October. Hunt down and find goblins hiding around Lieber State Recreation Area and other areas around Cagles Mill Lake. Obtain a goblin hunting permit from the Lieber SRA Nature Center or Lieber SRA gatehouse; snap a photo of the goblins and turn them in for a prize at the Nature Center. Gate entrance fee applies.
