DESCRIPTION:Join Indiana DNR ecologist\, Tina Flanigan\, for a guided sprin
 g hike at Olin Lake Nature Preserve on May 9\, 2026 at 9 a.m. ET. This 100
 ‑acre preserve protects the entire shoreline of Olin Lake\, the largest 
 lake in Indiana with an undeveloped shoreline.\n\nParticipants will explor
 e swamp forest along the shoreline and forested upland areas while learnin
 g about the ecological history of these unique habitats. Many spring wildf
 lowers are expected to be in bloom for this hike.\n\nThis is a moderate\, 
 natural‑surface trail hike. Please carpool if possible\, as parking is l
 imited. There are no restrooms at the preserve\, so plan accordingly. Wear
  sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.\n\nPlease register to attend this
  free event.\n\nDNR values access for all participants and will provide re
