COVID-19 Notice: Face Masks are required for this program. There may be portions of the hike where people are closer than 6ft.

Experience Turkey Run State Park’s canyons in a new way. Icicles chandeliers, frozen waterfalls, and the purest of silence can all be found at Turkey Run State Park in winter.

Join a guided Ice Hike through Gypsy Gulch & Box Canyon (Trail 2). Hike begins at the Nature Center at 1pm. Crampons (micro spikes) will be made available to participants. Crampons (micro spikes) allow safer hiking on ice and snow than boots alone. Those wishing to join must wear boots and be able to lift both legs to a 90 degree angle. Ice Hikes are subject to change due to weather conditions. Routes may be changed and micro spikes may not be necessary depending on the route and weather.

Standard park entrance fee of $7 per in-state vehicle and $9 per out-of-state vehicle will apply.
