During our one-day event, anyone in need—not just the homeless, but anyone struggling to access resources—can get help right on the spot. Homeless Connect isn’t a typical resource fair. Actual services are provided on-site that day. More than 70 vendors are hand-picked to provide a direct service at the event. These services include basic health screenings (including eye and dental exams), haircuts, legal advice, housing and financial assistance, tax preparation, foreclosure mitigation, re-entry services, veterans services, childcare referrals, parent resources, public assistance applications, utility bill consultation, birth certificates, employment services, recovery groups, internet access, education services and more.
