Two Hoosier Riverwatch trainings are being sponsored by the DNR Lake Michigan Coastal Program, IDEM, and La Porte County Parks. Basic training will be held on Monday April 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central Time, and advanced E. coli training on Tuesday April 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Red Mill County Park. Parking is available on site. Classes are open to 30 participants each and once a class is full no more registrations will be taken. All classes are FREE!

Important information:

• You must be at least 18 years old to participate in these classes
• Basic training is open to anyone
• To take advanced training, you must have taken basic training previously. (You may take basic training on the 29th and do advanced training on the 30th).
