DESCRIPTION:This course provides training on and resources for personnel wh
 o require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). The t
 arget audience for this course is for individuals who may assume a supervi
 sory role in expanding incidents or Type 3 incidents. These incidents may 
 extend into multiple operational periods. This course expands upon informa
 tion covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses. This course will include 
 but not be limited to: unified command\, incident/event assessment and obj
 ective development\, the ICS planning process\, incident/event resource ma
 nagement\, transfer of command and demobilization. OBJECTIVES: • Describ
 e how the NIMS Command and Management component supports the management of
  expanding incidents. • Describe the incident/event management process f
 or supervisors and expanding incidents as prescribed by the Incident Comma
 nd System (ICS). • Implement the incident management process on a simula
 ted Type 3 incident. • Develop an Incident Action Plan for a simulated i
 ncident.\n\nPrerequisites\n\nIS - 700 National Incident Management System\
 nBased on federal grant requirements IDHS is required to track personnel w
 ho attend training that are funded by the Emergency Management Performance
  Grant.\n\nPlease select if you are funded through the EMPG grant - Select
  "Yes" if either partially or in whole funded.\nIS - 800 National Response
  Framework - An Introduction\nIS - 100 Introduction to Incident Command Sy
 stem\nIS - 200 for Single Resources and Initial Action (Any Version)\n\nTh
 is course utilizes a digital delivery of course materials. Students must d
 ownload the attached documents to a digital device before the start of cla
 ss and bring the device with them to class fully charged. If this is a con
 sortium course\, documents will be sent from them for download.\n\nStudent
 s must provide proof of proper prerequisites when registering for class.
