Add to calendar

Governor Eric J. Holcomb and Lebanon Mayor Matt Gentry will join executives from MonoSol, an Indiana-based global manufacturer of water-soluble films, at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 16 to celebrate the company's new, high-tech production facility in Boone County.

In March 2018, MonoSol, a subsidiary of Japan-based Kuraray, announced plans for the new facility, which will house up to 89 new, high-wage positions when fully operational by the end of this year. MonoSol has already hired 52 new employees toward its goal. State, local and company officials will cut the ribbon tomorrow on the $72 million, 150,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.

Location:
155 S. Mount Zion Road
Lebanon

Parking:
Media may park in a 'reserved' parking spot immediately adjacent to the main entrance.

RSVP:
Space is extremely limited to ensure social distancing. All media must RSVP to Matt Vander Laan at matthew.vanderlaan@kuraray.com as soon as possible and will be required to check in upon arrival. Please arrive with ample time to move through the check-in process.

Health & Safety Notes:
To enter the facility, MonoSol requires a temperature check and mask for all visitors. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided. Members of the press will be asked to distance themselves and wear a mask during the media scrum. A microphone stand will be provided for press to capture audio from a distance.
