DESCRIPTION:The Indiana Military & Veterans Legislative Day (IMVLD) event\,
  was founded in 2013 by Representative John L. Bartlett and a group of volu
 nteers consisting of nonpartisan\, not-for-profit Indiana Veteran Service O
 rganizations and Military Associations. It is co-sponsored by a bipartisan 
 group of Indiana Legislators from the House and Senate. The overall event i
 ntends to enhance communications between Indiana active duty and reserve co
 mponent Military members\, Veterans\, and families with the State Senators 
 and Representatives regarding military and Veteran-specific legislation mov
 ing through the Indiana General Assembly. We know participation by Veterans
  and their families during active legislative sessions in the Indiana Gener
 al Assembly can make a real difference when legislators decide the outcome 
 of various bills. By contacting legislators early in the session\, each per
 son can play a pivotal role in making Indiana a better place for our Vetera
 ns and their families to work\, play and live. The Indiana Veterans and sup
 porters involved in planning this annual event happen have been working dil
 igently on behalf of Veterans and the State to provide this day for all Hoo
 sier Veterans. We want Hoosier Veterans to stay in Indiana\, to raise their
  families\, retire and continue to help grow our economy. Thank you in adva

 itment to making a positive change for our Hoosier Military\, Veterans\, an
