The Business of Archives: Account Books in the Indiana State Library

Some of the oldest manuscripts we have in the Indiana State Library are accounting books for regional business and trade, such as the Hyacinth Lasselle family collection. This talk will introduce these collections, housed in the Rare Books and Manuscripts Division, while providing tips on how to navigate pre-20^th century accounting.
