INDIANAPOLIS (March 25, 2022) — The Indiana Grain Indemnity Corporation (IGIC) will hold a public board of directors meeting on Wednesday, March, 30, 2022, from 9-10:30 a.m. (ET) at the Indiana Soybean Alliance Building in conference rooms A-C (8425 Keystone Crossing, Indianapolis, IN 46240).
After the public meeting an executive session will be held for a discussion of records classified as confidential by state or federal statute (Indiana Code 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(7)) pursuant to Indiana Code 26-3-7-6.5(d); and for a discussion of strategy with respect to litigation that has been threatened in writing pursuant to Indiana Code 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(2)(B).

ABOUT ISDA
The Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) was established as a separate state agency by the Legislature in 2005. Administratively, ISDA reports to Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch, who also serves as Indiana’s Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development. Major responsibilities include advocacy for Indiana agriculture at the local, state and federal level, managing soil conservation programs, promoting economic development and agricultural innovation, serving as a regulatory ombudsman for agricultural businesses, and licensing grain firms throughout the state.
