  process of selecting a new superior court judge. Judge Mark A. Jones has 
 tendered his resignation\, effective January 8\, 2022\, creating a vacancy
  on the Marion Superior Court. \n\nCommittee Chairperson and Indiana Supre
 me Court Justice Steven David announced applications for the positions are
  available online and must be submitted through the Indiana Courts Portal 
 by Thursday\, December 16 at 12:00 p.m. (Eastern).\n\nAccording to Indiana
  law\, the Committee is required to submit to the Governor “the three mo
 st qualified candidates” for appointment when a vacancy arises. Details 
 on the Committee\, including membership\, are online.\n\nThe Committee wil
 l meet on January 18\, 2022 (and January 19\, if needed)\, to interview th
 e applicants in the FUSE West conference room on the second floor of the S
