This adults-oriented (16+) workshop will cover basic sunfish biology, fish tips, gear selection, safety, regulations, and even ways to take your harvest from field to fork (or from the pond to plate, that is)! The class will consist of a 30 – 45-minute lecture followed by hands-on activities to help solidify your basic fishing knowledge and practice skills you may use in the field. Participants can expect to do a small amount of walking (up to one mile). Clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting a little bit wet are recommended. Gate admission is waived for class participants.
