https://on.in.gov/learn2fishJoin Indiana DNR for this beginner bass fishing workshop on Thurs., May 21 from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. ET at Atterbury Fish and Wildlife Area (FWA). Bass fishing is a great activity that doesn’t take much to get started and can help you put wild game on the table and enjoy the outdoors in new ways!
This adults-oriented (16+) workshop will cover basic bass biology, fish tips, gear selection, safety, regulations, and even ways to take your harvest from field to fork (or from the pond to plate, that is)! The class will consist of a 30 to 45-minute lecture followed by hands-on activities to help solidify your bass fishing knowledge and practice skills you may use in the field. Participants can expect a small amount of walking (up to one mile). Clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting a little bit wet are recommended.
Please register to attend this free workshop. See you there!
