  Nov. 1 from 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Atterbury Fish & Wildlife Area. Deer
  hunting is a great activity that can help you put wild game on the table 
 and practice your skills in the woods this fall! Whether you're new to hun
 ting\, or getting geared up to try something new this season\, we look for
 ward to seeing you!\n\nThis adults-oriented (16+) workshop will cover basi
 c deer biology\, hunting tips\, gear selection\, safety\, regulations\, an
 d even ways to take your harvest from field to fork! While hunter educatio
 n is not required for this workshop\, the content will build upon the basi
 c principles of hunter education. Prior certification in hunter education\
 , either in person or online is recommended. Find more information on onli
 ne hunter education here.\n\n The class will consist of an hour and a half
  long presentation with breaks followed by hands-on activities to help sol
 idify your deer hunting knowledge and practice skills you may use in the f
 ield. Participants can expect to do a small amount of walking (up to one m
 ile). Pants and closed-toe shoes are recommended.  \n\nPlease register to 
 attend this free workshop. See you there!\n\nDNR values access for all par
