 oin us for this beginner squirrel hunting workshop on Aug. 30 from 9 a.m. 
 – 12 p.m. ET at Atterbury Fish & Wildlife Area. Squirrel hunting is easy
  place to start putting wild game on your table and practicing your skills
  in the woods this fall. Whether you're new to hunting or just geared up t
 o try something new this season\, we look forward to seeing you!\n\nThis a
 dults-oriented (16+) workshop will cover basic squirrel biology\, hunting 
 tips\, gear selection\, safety\, regulations\, and ways to take your harve
 st from field to fork (or from the tree to the table\, that is). While hun
 ter education is not required for this workshop\, the content will build u
 pon the basic principles of hunter education. Prior certification in hunte
 r education\, either in person or online is recommended. Find more informa
 tion on online hunter education here.\n\nThe class will consist of a 30–
 45-minute lecture followed by hands-on activities to help solidify your sq
 uirrel hunting knowledge and practice skills you may use in the field. Par
 ticipants can expect a small amount of walking (up to one mile). Pants and
  closed-toe shoes are recommended.\n\nPlease register to attend this free
