 kshop on Saturday\, Jan. 17 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. ET at Sugar Ridge Fish
  & Wildlife Area. Squirrel hunting is easy place to start putting wild gam
 e on your table and practicing your skills in the woods this fall. Whether
  you're new to hunting or just geared up to try something new this season\
 , we look forward to seeing you!\n\nThis adults-oriented (16+) workshop wi
 ll cover basic squirrel biology\, hunting tips\, gear selection\, safety\,
  regulations\, and ways to take your harvest from field to fork (or from t
 he tree to the table\, that is). While hunter education is not required fo
 r this workshop\, the content will build upon the basic principles of hunt
 er education. Prior certification in hunter education\, either in person o
 r online is recommended. Find more information on online hunter education 
 here.\n\nThe class will consist of a 30–45-minute lecture followed by ha
 nds-on activities to help solidify your squirrel hunting knowledge and pra
 ctice skills you may use in the field. Participants can expect a small amo
 unt of walking (up to one mile). Pants and closed-toe shoes are recommende
