The Basic Skills Education Program (BSEP) helps Soldiers improve their Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT)/ASVAB scores to meet career goals. This week-long course, available in-person or virtually, ends with an AFCT to achieve new scores. Approved duty status options include split-train IDT or alternate AT, with meals and lodging provided at no cost to your unit for in-person courses.

BSEP is also available in a remote tutoring format, with most Soldiers reaching a 110 GT score in about 2.5 months with two one-hour sessions per week.
