This workshop is the first workshop in a series of three Learn to Fish workshops at Fort Harrison State Park. Attendance of a basic Learn to Fish is required to attend a Learn to Fish with Lures on June 19 or July 17.

Basic Learn to Fish workshops are tailored to people new to fishing who are interested in learning how to fish. Participants will learn basic fish biology, gain some basic fishing skills, and fish at Delaware Lake. No experience is needed, but children must be at least 6 years old and accompanied by a related adult. All bait and fishing equipment will be provided. No fishing license is required because 5/2/21 is a Free Fishing Day. To learn more about Free Fishing Days, visit: dnr.IN.gov/fishfree.

Workshop is free, but a gate fee will be charged upon entry to the park ($7/in-state vehicle).

Pre-registration is required. Register at https://fort_harrison_learn-to-fish-workshop.eventbrite.com.
