Geared for children from age 7 to 14, we will use models of animals to explore how biologists sort life. Participants will organize the models into groups and explore why we organized them as we did. We will discuss how we document the similarities of life and the classify living things. This program, led by Dr. Dominique McCowan, will be a mixture of discussion, explanation, and hands-on activities. Participants may bring any personal plastic models or stuffed animals to discover how they fit into the classification of life!
