Join the Naturalist for this special night program at the Indiana Dunes State Park Beach. We will have our telescopes and take a look at the changing color of the moon from our telescopes as it comes into full eclipse. Constellation talks and lunar treats will be provided. Check our park's Facebook page for cancellation due to clouds and inclement weather.

Timing of the Eclipse: 9:27 pm partial eclipse begins, 10:29 pm total eclipse begins, 11:11 pm is the maximum eclipse and 11:53 pm total eclipse ends.

The Nature Center's Current Hours:  Open Daily (excluding state holidays) 9:00 – 4:00 CST

Note that during peak visitation times, entry into our park might be delayed.  Parking lots around the Nature Center can fill quickly. Please plan accordingly.
