Mayors Advisory Council for Veterans and Veterans Support Council, Inc. invite all veterans, active military and their families to the free 10th annual Mayors Veterans Appreciation Day 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Marion County Fairgrounds 7300 East Troy Avenue Indianapolis. (Indy's far southeast side).

There is a job fair with more than 50 employers, motorcycle ride, picnic and fish fry. Also included is a classic car and motorcycle show, live band, games and bounce houses, door prizes, drawings, free haircuts and cell phones for homeless vets, blood mobile, and mobile license branch.
