IVH Memorial Day Ceremony Open to the Public
West Lafayette, Indiana – May 23, 2018 – The Indiana Veterans’ Home will host their Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 28th.
The public is invited to attend the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Indiana Veterans’ Home (IVH) on Monday, May 28th. The ceremony will be held in the campus inner circle near the Fallen Soldier Monument on the IVH grounds, beginning at 9:30 am. This year’s ceremony will include performances by the Tippecanotes and feature Indiana Army National Guard Sergeant First Class Edward Keister as the keynote speaker. American Legion Post 492 will provide the color guard and salute services. West Lafayette Police Officer Sanford Swanson will sing the National Anthem. The public will be invited to participate in a special recognition ceremony to honor their loved ones near the conclusion of the program.
IVH hosts a public Memorial Day ceremony each year to honor all residents, family, and staff members who have passed. Members of the public are welcome and invited to attend as they remember their own loved ones, whether military or civilian. Please join us at 3851 N. River Rd. West Lafayette, IN 47906. Parking is free.
