Join us at the Sunny Shelter, a short walk up from the beach at Sand Lake. We will have tables set up for this come-and-go event with information and activities related to monarch parenting, milkweed, native landscaping, and more! Educational programs will be held throughout the event (listed below):

• 10:00am. – 12:00pm. Craft and Coloring Table, Yard Games, exhibits, information booths
• 10:00am. Creating Pollinator Habitat. Learn the best plants, practices and tips to create a pollinator habitat of any size.  
• 11:00am. Monarch Parenting 101. YOU can help monarch butterflies by becoming a monarch parent. Learn the basics of collecting, raising and releasing these beautiful butterflies.
• 12:00pm. Monarch Migration and Tagging. Learn about the monarch's incredible journey up and down North America. If we have butterflies ready to release you can participate in butterfly tagging!
