LTHC Homeless Services will launch No Hero Should Be Homeless Month on June 1, 2026, a month-long community campaign dedicated to supporting veterans experiencing homelessness and housing instability across Greater Lafayette. The campaign will culminate in the 5th Annual No Hero Should Be Homeless Motorcycle + Jeep Ride on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Hunter’s Moon Harley-Davidson, 225 Progress Dr, Lafayette, IN 47905. This year’s goal is $12,500 to support LTHC’s Veteran Services Program, which helps veterans and their families access housing, case management, and other critical services that promote long-term stability. In FY25, LTHC’s Veteran Services Program served 66 veterans, including 12 families, reflecting the continued need for coordinated housing support in the region. “June is a chance for our community to show up in a meaningful way for veterans,” said Jennifer Layton, President and CEO of LTHC Homeless Services. “No veteran should have to return home from service only to face housing instability orhomelessness.” The June campaign will feature public awareness efforts, sponsorship opportunities, and fundraising in support of veterans from all branches of service. LTHC’s VeteranServices Program serves veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability across Greater Lafayette. The No Hero Should Be Homeless Motorcycle + Jeep Ride will welcome both riders and supporters in a shared effort to raise awareness and generate support for local veterans and their families.
